Nanook the rescued siberian husky

Meet Nanook a rescued Siberian husky. One of many faces I encountered on my trip to Jacksonville Beach with my son on Sunday. The story of Nanook is remarkable and all together inspiring to others looking to adopt an animal in need. Nanook went through 4 homes in 1 yrs before landing in the home he is in now. At first he suffered through separation anxiety and destroyed a window blind in their front window, his owner said that he acts more like a cat then a dog. He likes to get up on the back of the couch and lay in the front window of their home to look out and see the out side world and wait for his owner to get home. I call it kitty T.V.  but I guess in Nanook's case it would be puppy T.V. as well. Now, they have decided to leave the blinds up so Nanook could be comfortable and they wouldn't have to keep replacing window blinds.  Nanook is very sweet and very well mannered. He was plum tuckered out from his walk on the beach and through the greeting process he rested on the cool sand and made sure me smiled for every photo he allowed me to take of him.  I'm very happy to have had the chance to meet Nanook and I wish him and his family a very happy and healthy life together.

Be a hero save a life....
